chappsbypinsonsr@gmail.comUnderstanding how the CHAPPS program operates plays a key role to determine which of the five CHAPPS pay systems are right for each and every worker. Every worker
within the CHAPPS program must work a fiscal year rather than
the conventional calendar year.
For example, mail carriers play a critical role in the everyday lives of people around the world. With the CHAPPS program we ensure that our employees stay at their proper pay location to make sure that everyone gets mail every day of the work week.
The first 7-day bid will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Their off day will be Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday is their hump day where the employee will work 2 hours for their stipend pay, this year's salary, next year's salary (non-taxable), and their benefits (non-taxable).
The second and third 7-day bid will work Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Their off day will be Thursday and Friday. Monday is their hump day.
The 6-day bid will work Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Their off day will be Sunday and Monday. Wednesday is their hump day.
There are four different types of mail regular, partial, express and medicine. On Sunday partial, express and medicine will only be delivered. If a non-major holiday falls on a workday regular mail will be delivered. Major holidays will be treated as a Sunday for the mail carriers.
Bids create a relaxed environment for employees to understand where their money is going for each day of the week. This is accommodated with 3 tours (shifts) every day. This ensures that the CHAPPS program will provide a 24 hour service for all jobs.
The CHAPPS pay system revolves around a fiscal work week where employees pay themselves using their own hours and money. It unveils the hidden figures that have long been unaccounted for in traditional pay systems.
This system creates an alternative way to pay yourself for retirement.
The calendar year serves as a mechanism for employers to manage and dictate employees' working hours, resulting in the company gaining undue control over their time and compensation.
In the context of the CHAPPS Pay System, full-time military employees would be paid for the first 7-day bid, with their pay location being tour 1, just like other employees. These soldiers receive their payment twice a month, every 15 days. This payment structure helps maintain a consistent income flow for soldiers while accommodating the demands of their 24/7 work schedule.
These employees work 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, within a 24/7 system. In this system, four employees are required to cover two 7-day bids and one 6-day bid, for a total of 160 hours per week. This arrangement is known as the Four-in-a-Box pay system. To make this possible, there must be four full-time employees available to cover the four 40-hour bids.
